Situated at the slopes of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano in the north side of Guanacaste, this volcano is well known for its volcanic activity, bubbling mud pools and source of natural hot waters from the veins of the volcano.
This Tour features many amazing and challenging activities, such as zip lining through the canyon and its rivers, water tubing downstream, a hidden waterfall surrounded by the picturesque landscaping of the canyon.
This phenomenal canyon impresses with the dense views, green mountains and plenty of exciting things to do.
You’ll be taken uphill, at the heart of the tropical dry forest jungle to start with the zip lining throughout the canyon, jumping from one platform to another and so on. Then get a rush of adrenaline with the free fall of the Tarzan swing. Continue the adventure by going rappelling down in a steep canyon to finish up with the rock climbing and its gorgeous waterfalls.
Then, grab your personal tube (rubber ring) to float and let the gentle flow of the Rio Negro takes you downstream while you admire the exotic flora and fauna surrounded by the canyon and mountains. The day will finish off with a soothing volcanic mud bath and hot springs for a bit of relaxation (optional).
