This eco-tourism park is set on a protected area, considered the best one to find sloths in their natural environment. A family farm project to learn about chocolate, you can also enjoy the beauties of the banana and coffee plants, exotic flowers and natural river.
The hike takes about 45 minutes at your own pace and, after completing the trails, you’ll be refueled with a typical and yummy Costa Rican lunch in a local restaurant to then, head to another family project to learn about the Chocolate plantation.

The chocolate tour starts with the cultural background of the cacao in Costa Rica. Furthermore, it introduces you into the plantation area collecting, fermenting, grinding and finally the making of natural chocolate.
During these activities you will have the chance to learn about the chocolate process and taste cacao drinks.
Finally, we will look at one of the most important aspects of Costarican tradition called “The Trapiche”, which consist of mechanic sugarcane-mill, here we grind sugar cane to extract the sweet juice
The sighting of wild animals like sloths, frogs, monkeys, birds is common. Be ready for anything that cross the way.
